Sinn Féin have claimed that passing the referendum on the fiscal treaty will seriously undermine Irish sovereignty.

The party said it is determined to lead political opposition to the agreement and today, members gathered in the Dublin to iron out their strategy for a NO vote campaign.

Sinn Féin's Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Padraig MacLochlainn said his party is confident that voters will reject the Eurozone fiscal deal.

The Donegal TD added that his party will inform the nation of the implications of a yes vote.
