Just a normal day in Dublin...with added fighter jets

In case you, like some posters on Reddit and Twitter, were startled by the sound of two fighter jets flying low over Dublin today - we're pleased to say you can relax.

The jets were on a fly-by as part of the celebrations around the American football Croke Park Classic.

One redditor definitely wasn't impressed:

"2 us warplanes doing a flypast Croker*," wrote CanucksFanInDublin.

"Set off every alarm on my road and scared the shite out of my three year old niece....a bit of warning from anyone would have been nice."
