Simpsons superfan sets world record with Homer tattoos

Lee Weir from Auckland, New Zealand really loves the Simpsons. So much so that he is now the proud holder of the Guinness World Record for "most tattoos of the same cartoon character tattooed on the body" - Homer Simpson to be exact.

Weir now has 41 tattoos of the Simpsons patriarch on his body in a variety of situations, including "Homer as a jack-in-the box, the Grim Reaper, in an elephant suit, as the Hulk, and even Homer as a donut."

To save up the money, Weir said that he gave up alcohol for a year as he'd rather have the Homer tattoos than beer.

Fair enough.

In other Simpsons news (SPOILERS), it has been rumoured that the next character to be killed off in the beloved comedy cartoon will be... Krusty the clown.

Noooooo!
