An enterprising west Cork adventure centre has unveiled its latest attraction - a DIY waterslide made from 220ft of industrial-strength pond liner.
And it looks like buckets of fun…
Finbarr O'Mahony, proprietor of the West Cork Secret activity centre near Kilbrittain, said the water slide is set to be one of the main attractions on his 25-acre facility.
"It's open since last weekend and people are getting a fierce buzz off it," said Finbarr, who judging by the below pictures had great fun testing it.
The slide - built by Finbarr and his buddies on a steep hill on his land, is made from heavy-duty industrial plastic normally used to line ponds, with water from a pond at the bottom being pumped back up the hill.
"We've had a water slide here for two years but this latest version is something else entirely," Finbarr said.
"We've made it longer, wider, safer - and faster."
Think that looks like fun? Well you can have a go if you want, but it'll cost you - check out West Cork Secret's website and Facebook page for details.
