Female contestant stuns Cowell

Simon Cowell was stunned when a woman cut off her bra onstage during 'Britain's Got Talent' auditions.

The woman - whose act is known as Paisley X - shocked judges and the London audience by riding a unicycle in knickers, high heels and a leather corset before pulling out a knife and cutting off her bra.

Performer Gill Black then used two union jack flags to cover her modesty - a move which obviously impressed Simon.

He told her: "What you did was quite clever. I've never seen anyone get their kit off on one of those before."

The music mogul then voted for her to go through to the next round of the competition.

However, the other two members of the judging panel - Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan - vetoed him and sent Gill home.

A show source told The Sun newspaper: "When Gill cut her bra off the judges couldn't believe it - nobody saw it coming, they thought the unicycle was the act!"

Burlesque performer Gill regularly appears fully topless during her routines, but these aren't normally aired on TV.

The new series of 'Britain's Got Talent' will begin on ITV1 in April.
