40 new jobs have been announced for Cork.
Itron is an American-headquartered technology and services company, which specialists in measuring and analyzing water and energy use.
It is establishing a Global Business Services centre at Mahon in Cork, creating up to 40 jobs by the end of the year.
The company makes electricity, gas, water and thermal energy measurement and control tools.
