A six-year-old boy has been seriously injured in a crash in Cork.

A six-year-old boy has been seriously injured in a crash in Cork.

It is understood the youngster was struck by a bus in the Dunmanway area of the county at 4pm today.

He has been brought to Cork University Hospital where he is said to be in a serious condition.

Gardaí are investigating and are appealing for witnesses.
