Connolly Station open again after security alert

Dublin's Connolly Station has re-opened following a security alert.

Dublin's Connolly Station has re-opened following a security alert.

It was closed for a time after a suspicious device was found on a raised ledge outside Connolly Station by the Gardaí.

The army bomb disposal team was called to the scene and the object has now been removed for examination. The device was classified as a non-viable improvised explosive device (IED).

Full services are resuming, but there may be some delays.
