Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 36 year old David Coleman, who is missing from Castlerea, Co Roscommon.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 36 year old David Coleman, who is missing from Castlerea, Co Roscommon.

David was last seen in Demense View, Knockroe, Co Roscommon at approximately 7pm on the evening of the December 17 2014.

David is described as 6 foot in height, with a strong build, short mousy curly hair. When last seen he had a full beard and was wearing black jeans, dark hoodie and black boots.

Gardaí and David's family are concerned for his safety and are appealing for anyone with information to contact Castlerea Garda Station on 094 9621630, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Update 10am Friday, Jan 9: Gardaí have located missing person David Coleman. He has been found safe and well.
