Gardaí are trying to reunite boat owners with their stolen engines.

Officers recovered €150,000 worth of stolen property during three searches in Portlaoise at the end of last month.

The haul includes 74 outboard engines, 10 boats, eight boat trailers and a caravan.

One of the stolen boats displayed on the Garda Facebook page.

Gardaí believe the items may have been stolen from boatyards around the country.

They are appealing for people from Killybegs to Castletownbere to look at the photos on the Garda Facebook page and to get in contact if they think they may own any of them.
