Irish actor Devon Murray, who played Seamus Finnigan in the Harry Potter movies, has denied that he spent all this earnings on “women, cars and drink”.
“Well, there was an awful lot of money I had to put things into,” he said, speaking outside court today.
“I had bought a lot of horses – at the time I thought it was a great idea – and the horses died, broke legs, things like that happened, a lot of money went into that.
“I bought property and the arse fell out of that, so it wasn’t all just women, cars and drink.”
An Irish actor who played Seamus Finnigan in the Harry Potter movies has been ordered to pay his agent €260,000 in fees.
Devon Murray and his parents Fidelma and Michael from Celbridge, Co Kildare have been successfully sued by Neil Brooks.
The High Court reduced the initial figure of €286,000 by 9%.
