Limerick County Council closes roads

Limerick County Council has announced the closure of the R525 Castleconnell to Montpelier-O'Briensbridge Road, near the railway bridge, due to flooding.

Limerick County Council has announced the closure of the R525 Castleconnell to Montpelier-O'Briensbridge Road, near the railway bridge, due to flooding.

Motorists are advised to divert via the R466 Montpelier to Birdhill road.

The Mountshannon Road in Annacotty is also closed, as is the road from Charco's to Scanlan Park

in Castleconnell.

People are advised to use local diversions in these locations.
