A half a million euro worth of cocaine has been found hidden in a baby seat in a car following operations at Dublin Port and Airport.

A half a million euro worth of cocaine has been found hidden in a baby seat in a car following operations at Dublin Port and Airport.

Gardaí and officers from the Revenue Commissioners recovered seven kilos of the drug in the Mercedes as part of an investigation into suspicious vehicles and individuals at the port and airport.

A man in his 30s has been arrested and an international operation has been launched.
