Man due in court in connection with assault and robbery in Cork
A man in his 20s due in court later today in connection with an assault and robbery in Bandon, County Cork earlier this month.
He was arrested yesterday morning in connection with an attack on a woman at Castle Road in Bandon shortly after 3am on December 1.
The woman was knocked to the ground, assaulted and her handbag stolen before three passers-by came to her assistance.
He is due to appear before Bandon District Court this morning.
