A man has been found dead at a house in Cork.

Gardaí investigating the death of a man in Co Cork are examining whether he may have fallen from an upstairs window.

The man's body was found outside the Manor Mills complex in Rathcormac this morning.

Gardaí hope that a post mortem will establish the exact cause of death.

Detectives are taking witness statements from other occupants in the apartment bloc to establish when the man was last seen alive.

A man has been found dead at a house in Cork.

Gardaí say the man was discovered at a house in Rathcormac just before 11am.

The man is believed to have been in his 40s.

The area in the Manor Hills estate on the northern edge of the village has been sealed off and a post mortem will be carried out later.

The Office of the State Pathologist has been informed.
