Man's body discovered in Co Galway

A man's body has been discovered in Co Galway today.

Gardai say the man in his 40's was discovered in Salthill at around 10 am this morning.

The body has been removed from the scene, and a post-mortem is due to be carried out tomorrow at University Hospital Galway.

Gardaí say the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of their investigation.
