McBrearty Jnr makes no apology for using 'F' word

The Labour candidate for the Donegal South West by-election has found himself embroiled in controversy after using an expletive when talking to the Donegal county manager.

Frank McBrearty Jnr has already courted controversy by stating that, if elected, he would have no problem in voting against the Labour party in the Dáil on any issue he felt was not for the benefit of Donegal.

So far the Labour party has declined to comment on either issue.

Speaking recently, Councillor McBrearty admitted telling the County Manager to 'F' off - and made no apology for it.

It is understood that cllr McBrearty had tried to raise an issue in the council chamber earlier and been told it was a breach of protocol to do so that that time.

When the county manager approached him in the lobby outside the chamber afterwards, cllr McBrearty told him to 'F' off.
