New comet visible to naked eye this weekend
A new comet which has appeared in Irish skies, should be visible to the naked eye as it passes closest to Earth this weekend.
Comet Jacques was discovered by Brazilian astronomers in March.
It will pass within 50 million miles of Earth, giving stargazers an opportunity to catch a unique glimpse.
