Sinead O’Connor 'safe and sound' after worrying message posted to Facebook account

A message posted to the official Facebook account of Sinead O’Connor appears to show the Irish singer to be in a distraught state.
Gardaí at Pearse St station have confirmed that singer Sinead O'Connor has been located "safe and sound" and is receiving medical assistance.
The statement included: “The last two nights finished me off. I have taken an overdose. There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in ireland, under another name.”
It later states: “well done guys, you've finally got rid of me. Sorry the penny didn't drop sooner. I'm an idiot.”
A spokesman for An Garda Síochána said that they cannot comment on cases involving named individuals.
