University of Limerick project to create more than 200 jobs

Some 225 jobs, including 150 in construction, are being created at a new Science and Engineering Initiative at the University of Limerick.
'The Bernal Project’ aims to contribute to Ireland's research in the areas of pharmaceutical, biomedical and energy research and development.
The project will be officially launched by the Taoiseach later today.
Some 150 construction jobs will be created in work to house the new project, with a further 75 long-term research and teaching positions on the way once the centre is finished in 2015.
