The Dublin Airport Authority says crosswinds over the airfield there have caused a number of flights to be diverted to Shannon or Belfast.
Passengers are being advised to check their airline's website before travelling to the airport.
Winds are said to reach gusts of between 90 and 120km per hour this afternoon.
