One man remains in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed in an attack in Dublin city on Friday night.

One man remains in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed in an attack in Dublin city on Friday night.

It is understood two men in their 20s were set upon by a group of teenagers on Fade Street just after 11pm.

They were brought to St James' Hospital for treatment and one of the men was discharged late last night.

However, the other man remains in a serious condition.
