Two small planes collided during an acrobatic display at an air show in central Poland today.

Two small planes collided during an acrobatic display at an air show in central Poland today.

The two small red planes slammed into each other and burst into fragments at the Radom Air Show.

There was no immediate word on the fate of the pilots.

There were no reports of injuries among those on the ground – the collision happened well away from the crowd.

Rescue and recovery efforts were under way, said Pawel Fritcz from the Radom fire department.
