It was business as usual for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh as Catleen ran out a cosy winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Handicap Hurdle at Leopardstown.
Ireland’s top trainer/jockey combination have suffered a few surprise reverses of late, including with Ut De Sivola in the opener, but Catleen showed the County Carlow team was still in form.
The 7-2 favourite jumped into the lead at the final flight and went on to record a length and three-quarters verdict over Tony McCoy’s mount A Country Girl with Sugar Bullet third.
