A female intruder allegedly found sleeping in a bed at Pamela Anderson's home has pleaded not guilty to trespassing.

Christine Evelyn Roth, 27, was remanded in custody in Malibu, California. She will appear in court on March 15 for a pretrial hearing.

Police were called to the former Baywatch star's home in Malibu on Sunday morning and arrested Roth.

She wasn't charged with stalking because that requires a credible threat by the suspect and there was no evidence of a threat, said Deputy District Attorney Martin Herscovitz.

"I think she wanted to see Pamela Anderson but there was no evidence she was there to hurt or threaten her," the prosecutor said.
