Crestfallen Donegal boss Brian McEniff has reiterated that he won't be doing a U-turn on his decision to stand down following yesterday's All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Armagh.
A late surge from Armagh put the All-Ireland champions into their second final in a row, and McEniff cut a downbeat figure in the Donegal dressing-room, where he immediately tendered his resignation as manager.
He said: "I have retired. I’m a county chairman but I’m looking for a team manager. I have done my time. I really enjoyed it, and got a great buzz, but I have gone beyond that stage of management."
