Man charged following seizure of €120k worth of cannabis herb

A man has been charged following the seizure of cannabis herb with an estimated value of €120,000.

The man, aged 33, is to appear before the District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon.

Two other men, aged 30 and 41 years, were also arrested and have since been released from Garda custody without charge.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The seizure and arrests were made following the search of two vehicles at Cloghran, Dublin yesterday afternoon at approximately 2pm.

The three men were detained at Raheny and Coolock Garda Stations under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
