Overnight rain makes road conditions 'treacherous'
Motorists are being urged to drive with extra care this morning, after heavy overnight rain caused some flooding in parts of the country.
Worst hit are counties Galway and Mayo and the midlands area, including Laois and Offaly.
AA roadwatch has said there is some surface water on the Athy to Stradbally road, which will affect people returning home from the Electric Picnic festival.
