Katie Hopkins is apparently being lined up to replace Simon Cowell on the Britain’s Got Talent panel when he retires.
The music mogul has openly talked about his plans to retire as a judge on the ITV entertainment contest and now reality star Katie is being tipped to take his seat.
“There is a role for a Miss Nasty on any panel. We don’t have any good Miss Nasties at the moment because everyone wants to be sweet like Cheryl Cole,” she told The Daily Mirror.
“They want to be loved. It would be good to have someone different. There’s absolutely more TV coming up for me.”
Simon will remain on the panel with Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon when BGT returns later this year for its ninth series - but we all know how much Cowell loves to shake things up a little.
Amanda also recently hinted she is considering stepping down after celebrating the show’s 10th anniversary.
“I would love to make it 10 and then call it a day,” she said.
Although it looks like people are excited about Hopkins stepping in:
Katie Hopkins becoming a judge on #BritainsGotTalent might be the best news on a Monday ever. Obsessed with @KTHopkins
