Thai police said today an American tourist was killed on the island of Phuket after a British man allegedly picked a fight with him at a bar, followed him back to his hotel and stabbed him to death.

Thai police said today an American tourist was killed on the island of Phuket after a British man allegedly picked a fight with him at a bar, followed him back to his hotel and stabbed him to death.

The body of Dashawn Longfellow, 23, was found before dawn on Saturday at the Yanui Paradise Resort.

He had several stab wounds in his chest, said police Lieutenant Colonel Anukul Nuket.

Anukul said today police have issued an arrest warrant for Lee Aldhouse of Britain, who was identified by witnesses.

The Briton was a regular at the bar and has trained in Thai kickboxing or Muay Thai, police said.
