The Laois County Board has decided not to re-appoint Dinny Cahill as manager of the county's senior and under-21 hurling sides.

The Tipperary native succeeded Paudie Butler as manager of the senior side in January of this year and helped Laois retain Liam McCarthy Cup status for next season.

However, the county were also demoted to Division 2 of the National Hurling League during his reign after they lost in a relegation final to Down.
