There has been a mixed response to the announcement that British monarch Queen Elizabeth is to visit Ireland later this year, following an invitation from President Mary McAleese.
Sinn Féin has described it as "premature" and offensive to some people, but the DUP said it was good news and urged republicans to show the Queen respect.
Tourism Ireland CEO Niall Gibbons said the visit presented a very welcome opportunity to showcase Ireland's positives.
"Many people will see are all the positive images about Ireland - our people, our culture, our scenery…It will showcase Ireland in a very positive way to the world," he said.
