Man and woman arrested after MDMA seizure
A man and woman remain in Garda custody this morning following two drug seizures in Co Laois and Co Tipperary yesterday.
The pair, who are both in their 20s, were detained after MDMA with an estimated street value of €400,000 was seized during two operations.
The first seizure was made when gardaí stopped a car outside Portlaoise and the second during a follow-up search at a house in Clonmel.
MDMA is the main ingredient in ecstasy tablets and is also sold in powdered form.
