Parties 'reach agreement on political reform'
The Green Party have announced that they have reached agreement with Fianna Fáil on a number of issues, including climate change, education and political reform.
The party said that should further progress be made in the talks it will hold a special convention of its members on Wednesday evening.
Green Party negotiators are hopeful that a deal can be finalised on a programme for government that can be put before party members.
If agreement is reached tomorrow, the convention will be held in the Mansion House on Wednesday from 1pm until 9pm.
Over 1,000 party members will be eligible to vote, by secret ballot, on a document prepared by negotiations teams from the two parties over the last eight days.
Over 500 party members are expected to attend and a majority of two thirds is needed for the motion to pass.
