Consumer prices in November increased by 0.3% in the month, compared to a decrease of 0.2% in November 2005.
As a result, the annual rate of inflation increased to 4.4%, up from 3.9% in October, according to the Consumer Price Index.
The EU Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) was unchanged in the month, compared to a decrease of 0.2% in November 2005.
The annual rate of inflation increased from 2.2% in October to 2.4% in November.
The most notable changes in the year were increases in housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (+21.7%), education (+4.9%), health (+4.3%) and restaurants/hotels (+4.1%).
There were decreases in clothing and footwear (-2.2%) and furnishings, household equipment / routine household maintenance (-1.6%).
The annual rate of inflation for Services was 8.5% in November, while Goods decreased by 0.3% in the year.
