Government attempts to rush through the Education for Persons with Disabilities Bill have been described as 'an insult'.
The Irish Autism Alliance said the Government is pushing the Bill through the Dail without any proper consultation.
The Alliance said the proposed legislation will affect one in every five families with school-going children.
However, the Taoiseach has denied accusations the Government is behaving in bad faith and said consultations with the organisations will get underway after Easter.
