Labour Deputy Joe Costello says it may be time to pull the plug on Anglo Irish Bank.

Labour Deputy Joe Costello says it may be time to pull the plug on Anglo Irish Bank.

Yesterday the European Commission gave approval to the Government for another €10bn injection.

It means the total bill to the taxpayer for Anglo is now more than €24bn.

"There has to be a serious question as to whether or not it is a viable operation at all," he said.
