Teen hospitalised after Belfast assault

A 14-year-old boy is being treated in hospital following an assault in Belfast last night.

A 14-year-old boy is being treated in hospital following an assault in Belfast last night.

He was attacked by a group of five men, one armed with a stick, as he walked along Castleton Avenue at around 9.30pm.

He was taken to hospital with facial and back injuries which are not life-threatening.

Police are appealing for information.
