Jackson keeps smiling through tough year
Superstar Janet Jackson has had a difficult year, with her brother Michael's arrest and her infamous Super Bowl exposure - but she still insists she's never been happier.
The That’s The Way Love Goes singer is blissfully in love with record producer Jermaine Dupri, who has supported her when she was fiercely criticised after her breast popped out of her bustier during the American football final in February.
Jackson has vowed to stand by her brother as he fights charges of child molestation, but cannot discuss the case for legal reasons.
She explains: "I'm strong. I can handle everything and anything. Recent events have meant that I've developed new skills.
"There have been plenty of times in my life when I've said I've wanted to give all of this up and live quietly on a Caribbean island. But I mean it.
"I love what I do and wouldn't change a thing. And honestly, I am the happiest I've ever been in my life.
"Everybody has their problems, but I think ours get magnified. There are a lot of propaganda stories. A lot of them are untrue."
