Linfield beat their arch-rivals for the second time in four days to win Setanta Sports Cup Group 1 and secure a home semi-final with Cork City at Windsor Park on April 30th.

Having effectively clinched the Irish League title with a 2-1 win at The Oval on Saturday, Linfield continued where they left off with Tommy Stewart twisting into space to shoot past Elliot Morris to give them the lead on seven minutes.

But Glentoran didn't lie down and they hit back to level on 42 minutes.

Chris Morgan was sandwiched between Patrick McShane and Kris Lindsay inside the box and Kyle Neill shot home the resultant penalty.

Linfield regained the lead to win the match on 55 minutes when Stewart put Peter Thompson in behind the Glens' offside trap and he shot through the legs of Morris.
