A 36-year-old man has been arrested in Dundalk under suspicion of being involved with an illegal organisation.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested in Dundalk under suspicion of being involved with an illegal organisation.

He was detained yesterday afternoon in the Dublin Rd area of the town.

The man is being held under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at Dundalk Garda Station.

He is being questioned regarding the serious crime in north Louth.
