Aer Lingus cabin crew urged to reject Labour Court plan

The trade union IMPACT has advised its cabin crew members at Aer Lingus to reject a Labour Court recommendation on pay.

The trade union IMPACT has advised its cabin crew members at Aer Lingus to reject a Labour Court recommendation on pay.

At present, staff would have to work 24 years to reach the top rate of pay.

According to IMPACT, the rate on offer would see cabin crew waiting for 35 years to earn the top rate of £25,000.

Bernard Harbor of IMPACT says a formal rejection of the pay offer could see staff out on strike again.
