The High Court is to announce this afternoon who must pay costs in the Beverly Cooper-Flynn libel action against RTE and retired farmer James Howard.

The High Court is to announce this afternoon who must pay costs in the Beverly Cooper-Flynn libel action against RTE and retired farmer James Howard.

A ruling has been scheduled for 3.30pm.

Ms Cooper-Flynn may have to resign her Dail seat if the judgement goes against her, as the estimated total legal bill of almost £2m would leave her bankrupt.
