New signing Ben Roberts goes straight into the Derry City squad for tonight's clash with Shamrock Rovers at the Brandywell, kick-off 7.45pm.
The former Middlesbrough and Charlton Athletic goalkeeper has signed for the Candystripes on a short-term deal.
"He's a good keeper and communicator and he'll keep our other two keepers on their toes," said City boss Pat Fenlon.
"He has done very well in training and he is an experienced goalkeeper, so he's a good addition to the squad.
"There's competition for places and he'll have to fight to get into the team."
Kevin Deery, Gary Beckett and Alan Moore are still out injured for City.
Rovers are still missing long-term injuries Paul Shiels and Eric McGill and Tommy Barrett is out having suffered whiplash in a car crash.
"A knee problem means Derek Pender is doubtful, and the same goes for
Ger Rowe, who has badly bruised ribs," says Hoops boss Pat Scully.
"Ian Ryan should be okay."
