UK: Boy and girl, 14, remanded on murder charge

Two 14-year-olds appeared in a British court today charged with murdering a man accused of sexual offences.

Two 14-year-olds appeared in a British court today charged with murdering a man accused of sexual offences.

Robert Daley, 45, was found stabbed to death at an address in Ferndale Road, Stockwell, south London, on Friday evening.

A 14-year-old girl, wearing a purple T-shirt, appeared before Judge Brian Barker, the Common Serjeant of London, at the Old Bailey.

In a separate hearing, a 14-year-old boy appeared before a youth court in Croydon, a Scotland Yard spokesman said.

The pair were remanded to secure accommodation and will appear at Sutton Youth Court on May 25.

Neither of the teenagers can be named for legal reasons.
