Leinster will begin the defence of their Celtic League title with a group game against Welsh side Pontypridd in Donnybrook this evening.

Manager Matt Williams has a full-strength squad to choose from and Leinster are favourites to win the tie.

However, Pontypridd, who won the European Shield and the Principality Cup last season, could be boosted by the return to fitness of points machine Neil Jenkins.

The game kicks off at 7.35pm.
