Leeds United strikers Alan Smith and Mark Viduka are expected to request personal hearings before the British Football Association after being charged with misconduct today.

If found guilty, the pair could be suspended for three games. Smith is currently serving a five-match ban for being sent off during the FA Cup third-round against Cardiff earlier this month and for picking up a fifth yellow card against Newcastle six days later.

The 21-year-old England international has been sent off twice this season and six times in his career.
