Dublin hurling boss Humphrey Kelleher is facing the prospect of being stripped of his best talent, Conal Keaney, in another dual player tug of war.

Dublin hurling boss Humphrey Kelleher is facing the prospect of being stripped of his best talent, Conal Keaney, in another dual player tug of war.

AllStar candidate Keaney has been named to play for the the hurlers this weekend but is expected to be called up by football boss Tommy Lyons also in what could set an alarming precedent.

Kelleher said: "It is an issue that will have to be dealt with. It is not a situation that I wish to happen but if it is to happen perhaps it is better at this time of the year than further down the line."
