Not for the fainthearted - check out this game of vertical football

Look away now if you have a fear of heights!

To celebrate the upcoming start of the European Championships in France, a game of vertical soccer was played out in Paris yesterday.

The pitch was hung from scaffolding set up in an open space and the footballers moved around it while suspended from harnesses.

Video from euronews.

The watching spectators could only see the players in front of the pitch, but each was linked to another athlete providing a counterweight on the the other side. The spectacle was performed by the "Les passagers" dance troupe.

It makes the regular horizontal game look like a piece of cake.
