Daniel McFall, (aged 21), of Croftwood Crescent, Ballyfermot, and Christopher McCarthy, (aged 28), of The Vale, Wood Farm Acres, in Palmerstown, today appeared at the Special Criminal Court in connection to the discovery of a pipe bomb under a van at Belcamp Crescent, north Dublin, in January 2005.

The pair, who had previously pleaded guilty to the charge, will reappear before the court on Friday morning when a new sentencing date will be fixed.
